The Black Pit of Dr. M Finishes Restoration The rarely seen, once lost, supernatural-horror masterpiece, The Black Pit of Dr. M - aka: Misterios de Ultratumba has finished restoration. The restored master looks fantastic. Our version will not only be the first ever DVD release of the film it will also be the first time this film has ever been released for both the English and Spanish speaking audience. There will also be some great special feature additions to this DVD including a photo essay detailing a history of the great Horror films of Mexico, many of which were imported into the USA by K Gordon Murray in the late Sixties --also, are you ready for this? A rock music video from the band 21st Century Art which they actually recorded while watching various sequences of the film. |

Curse of the Crying Woman and The Witch's Mirror are done I just received our restored copies of The Witch's Mirror and Curse of the Crying Woman from Screentime images and they look absolutely amazing! After seeing the restored versions for the first time, it is astonishing these great horror titles have remained elusive for so long. I can't wait to hear Frank Coleman's commentary on The Witch's Mirror. Again, both these titles will be released on June 27th, so mark your calendars. |
